Soldier Vet Accidentally Poops His Pants At Store, When Staffs Surround Him Woman Steps In

0

In the whirlwind of bad news that we see every single day, it can be very disheartening to think that there isn’t much good in the world left.

But every now and then, a sweet, wholesome, kind bit of news comes around that brings our faith in humanity back to its fullest. This story is one of them.

Lisa Lemming Jackson was doing some shopping at a local supermarket called Kroger in Georgia when she came across a man who looked like he needed assistance.

She met his eyes by chance while she was wandering through the store aisles that day in early August, and she saw that the elderly man looked distressed.

She offered him a smile and started to walk past him, but as she did, she couldn’t shake the feeling that something was very wrong.

So Lisa stopped and went back to him and asked if something was amiss or if he needed help. The man’s eyes began to fill with tears and he appeared very embarrassed.

He explained that he has colon cancer, and he said that he’d had a bad accident while he was there in the store.

He felt ashamed and didn’t want to get up from the cart, as everyone would be able to know what happened if he did so.

The man looked like he was feeling as though he’d lost all his dignity. His situation saddened Lisa, and she knew she had to help.

She spoke to staff at the Kroger store and they helped to bring him new undergarments and some wipes.

They also discreetly moved him to an employer bathroom and presented him with some clothes for him to change into.

By this point, the elderly man was crying gratefully. He was so touched by their kindness and apologized for the trouble.

He also said that he had to hurry and be done with his shopping, as his wife was back home alone and he wanted to get back to her.

Lisa accompanied him to the cash register, and when they arrived, he saw that all the groceries he had put in his cart were all bagged and ready to go – and they had also been completely paid for!

Once more, the man found himself in tears. He couldn’t believe how compassionate everyone was being to him.

As it turns out, this man, named Elmer, was a war veteran who had fought in the Korean War and the Vietnam War both.

He’d always loved his country dearly but felt that his country had forgotten about him and what he and other servicemen and servicewomen had done for them.

That is until today when he was reminded just how good and kind others can be.

Lisa found herself in tears, too.

They traded tales of their own difficulties in life, and the man kindly imparted wise words to her to help her and give her encouragement in her own struggles and worries.

The fact that Lisa and Kroger staff pooled together to help Elmer and go above and beyond for him truly reminds us that there is hope in humanity yet!

10-Year-Old Girl Killed ‘By Excitement’ After Going Into Cardiac Arrest On Water Slide

Because the ride has a minimum height limit of 48-inches for riders, London waited patiently for almost 2 years before her dream came true.

Unfortunately, her dream turned into a nightmare for her parents as her heart gave out as she traveled down the 270-foot long slide. Read the full story here ▶

The people living nearby this parking lot say that the homeless man was often sitting there alone.

Little 6-Year-Old Girl’s Powerful Rendition Of Beloved Elvis Song Is Putting Us In Our Emotions

0

Elvis may always hold the title of the King of Rock, but that doesn’t mean that his songs can’t be improved on. Don’t get us wrong.

Elvis was a legend. His music stands the test of time, but sometimes when you hear someone else sing one of his songs, you experience it in a whole new way.

Have you heard of Claire Crosby? She’s been singing for years, and she’s only six years old right now. Her family has a YouTube channel called The Crosby’s.

She’s sung many duets with her dad, and she has quite a few impressive solo performances too.

In a new video, Claire takes on a cover of the Elvis song “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” We already know cute little Claire can sing, but this time she also accompanies herself on the ukulele!

She looks pretty unassuming with her braided hair and sweet smile. She sits on the couch looking directly at the camera. She’s a YouTube pro.

She starts out the video simply enough by introducing herself and the song she’s about to sing. Then she looks down at the ukulele and starts strumming. Her facial expressions are so adorable as she sings. She really seems to put feeling and emotion into her voice, even closing her eyes at times.

We have to wonder, what can this 6-year-old girl know about falling in love? Probably nothing, but she sure looks and sounds like she knows something about it.

The video has already been shared over 333K times, and many people are leaving really positive feedback in the comments.

One person wrote, “Claire!!???  That was so sweet and touching. Elvis would have brought you on stage.”

Another person agreed, “I also agree that Elvis would have been so proud of Claire and would have been honored to have her on stage with him singing this song together. He probably would have bent down to her eye level. I can only image how precious that could have been. I believe he is watching her today from heaven and cheering her on.”

How sweet that would have been indeed!

Another comment reads, “My God, could anything else be cuter or sweeter?  Makes all the other junk disappear…” We couldn’t agree more. If you need something to brighten your day and make you smile, watching this video just might be it.

What do you think of Claire’s version of “Can’t Help Falling in Love”? Do you think Elvis would have been proud of her performance?

Woman learns fate after recording herself ‘indecently abusing’ boyfriend as he was dying!

0

The then-32-year-old woman, Megan, was sentenced to prison for recording herself laughing as she se-ually abused her boyfriend, who was dying from a drug overdose. According to prosecutors, the woman called 911 to report that her boyfriend, Brandon, was unresponsive.

He died from a heroin overdose and police recovered drugs, paraphernalia, and a video from the couple’s home. The footage showed the woman laughing as she se-ually abused him, before calling emergency services 45 minutes later.

The woman’s attorney stated that his client had made the tape to show Brandon later, to get him to quit using the substances. “It was done stupidly and wrongly, but there was no malice,” attorney reportedly Koch said, stating that his client was also on drugs at the time.

However, prosecutor Park maintained that Megan’s delay in calling for help was inexcusable. Megan had previously pleaded guilty to abusing an incapacitated adult, se-ual battery, and two counts of possessing illegal drugs. The second drug charge was in connection to another incident where she gave a man drugs at a motel, causing him to overdose. She was sentenced to 16 years in prison. We are republishing this story amid recent reports that suggest many US states are recording record highs in sexual assault incidents.

Mama pear pleads to fisherman to save her drowning cubs, ‘then this happened’!

0

There are many evil people in the world who treat animals badly. But I definitely believe that those who want to help and save animals are in the majority, which warms my heart. J

ust like these fishermen who unexpectedly saw a bear cub clinging onto their boat. But as they would soon discover, the cub wasn’t alone.

Parents always want the best for their children and to see them perform to the best of their abilities. But sometimes our expectations outweigh our children’s capabilities and the results aren’t always what we expected.

This is what happened recently to a well-meaning bear mama, who thought her cub could swim better and longer than it actually could. Some unsuspecting fishermen in lake Vygozero in Russia caught sight of a cub in the water next to their boat. The little cub seemed tired and crawled hard against the hull in a desperate attempt to get up on dry ground. Somehow mom and cub had lost each other and the little one was obviously tired. There wasn’t much time left before it would drown – but luckily the fishermen’s boat showed up before it was too late.

They talked about what they should do, as they knew that the bear could try to bite and scratch them. But deep down they knew that they could only do one thing. Save the little bear. Despite the risk to their own lives, they knew that animals’ lives are sacred. They took a big oar and fished the little bear cub out of the water before it could understand what was happening. The cub understood that the fishermen were only trying to help, and didn’t put up a fight. It was only when the fishermen turned around that they saw something they never could have imagined.

The little bear cub was not alone — he had a sibling along with him on his little swimming trip. The fishermen jumped to action again and made sure the sibling ended up sitting safely on a net in the back of the boat. Thanks to their amazing and quick-thinking effort, they were able to save both little bear’s life. They drove the boat to the little island where their mother was waiting — and at that moment there was certainly not a single mom in the world who was more grateful than this mamma bear. The fishermen thought they were going out for an uneventful fishing trip that day. But instead they managed to save the lives of two young bear cubs — an effort nothing less than heroic.

Hooters Girl Takes Photo With Homeless Man, He Reaches In His Pocket

0

A Hooters waitress agreed to take a very wholesome, nice picture next to a homeless man. As she was moving away, getting ready to leave, she saw him reach into his pocket. She wasn’t prepared for what he pulled out.

As Morissa Pena pulled into a Hooters location in Phoenix, Arizona, where she worked as a waitress when she’s not working as a professional make-up artist, she happened to glance in her rearview mirror.

The Hooters waitress quickly noticed a homeless man sitting on the curb across the street. “His name is Rick. I walk up to him and ask if he’s okay,” Morissa recalled. Read the full story here ▶

Airline Turns Plane Around, Hands Mom Boarding Pass Saying Her Son’s In Danger

0

Let’s face it: airline companies typically don’t have the best reputation for customer care.

But Southwest Airlines pulled through the help a customer in her time of need and went so far as to turn the plane around for her!

Peggy had just boarded her flight to Chicago from Columbus when her husband attempted to call her because their sun had fallen into a coma back in Denver, where they lived.

Her phone was off as she had been getting ready for the plane to take off, so her husband called the airline instead.

Immediately, airport customer service rushed to contact the pilots and have Peggy informed of what was going on.

Luckily, the plane had only begun moving and had yet to take off, so the plane was immediately stopped and a taxi was called for Peggy, who rode it back to the gate.

She was then able to speak properly with her husband about the matter.

Peggy now had to fly to Denver instead, and Southwest Airlines pulled through and rescheduled her flight for her for free!

She was even given a private waiting area and was allowed to board the plane before other passengers.

When she disembarked at Denver, a packed lunch was waiting for her.

Her luggage was safety rerouted as well.

People called her horrible names after she married 97-year-old man; ‘years later, they regretted it’!

Romantic couples with a large age gap often raise eyebrows. When it comes to our own relationships, both men and women prefer someone their own age, but are open to someone 10-15 years their junior or senior.

While there is variation across cultures in the size of the difference in age-gap couples, all cultures demonstrate the age-gap couple phenomenon.

In some non-Western countries, the average age gap is much larger than in Western countries. For example, in some African countries about 30% of unions reflect a large age gap.

The 35-year-old woman, Akua, whose marriage to a 97-year-old man, Agya, in West Africa went v!ral online a couple of days ago has explained why the marriage was unavoidable. She told local news outlets that though poverty was one of the factors that compelled her to enter into a relationship with the man in the first place, which has now culminated into marriage, they have loved each other and bonded well over the period. She further disclosed that unknown to most people who made a mockery of their recent knot-tying, they have been together for 11 years and had four kids and they have only decided to make their union official now.

“We have been together for some time. We had what is called in our local language as knocking and thus lived together for so many years. And so he has loved him since. We have four kids but I brought one child from my previous relationship,” she narrated. “The man I had the first kid with my previous relationship never took care of the child and so as a young lady who had nothing, this man was the one taking care of my child and so I had no choice than to marry him. I loved him and he proposed to me and we married because I needed someone who will take care of me and my husband does exactly that,” Akua told The Pulse.

If you care to know, no amount of mockery will make the couple give up on making each other happy. Akua said they are focusing on enjoying their union rather than what outsiders who hardly know anything about them are saying. The wedded couple trended on social media after images of their wedding were uploaded to the internet.

Kate Garraway and her children spent final family Christmas by Derek Draper’s hospital bedside: ‘They had the best day they could’

almost four years after he first fell seriously ill with Covid resulting in a plague of health woes.

The Mirror reported Kate, Derek and their two children Darcey, 17, and Billy, 14, spent their final Christmas as a family together beside his hospital bed.

A source said: ‘Unfortunately Derek was too unwell for doctors to allow him home for Christmas. But the last thing Kate wanted was for him to be alone during the holidays.

‘So they brought Christmas to him, food, presents and all. The whole family was there with him and they had the best day they could.’

The Good Morning Britain host announced the death of her husband of 18 years at the age of 56 on Instagram on Friday morning, almost four years after he first fell seriously ill with Covid resulting in a plague of health woes

Kate made a desperate 12-hour flight home from Mexico with husband Derek Draper, where he had been undergoing specialist treatment, after he suffered a cardiac arrest last month.

The Sun reports Kate and Derek ventured to Mexico ‘without fanfare’ in November for treatment which went ‘incredibly well’ only for him to suffer a cardiac arrest ahead of their return home in time for Christmas.

Ex-lobbyist Derek was stabilised and put in an air ambulance for the 12-hour flight, with his beloved wife by his side.

With a source telling the publication: ‘The treatment went incredibly well, and his doctor and all the consultants were hugely optimistic about his long-term progress, and future’.

‘Unfortunately as Kate excitedly returned to bring Derek home he suffered a cardiac arrest’.

The broadcaster was by Derek’s side in intensive care in Mexico and worked with UK doctors who oversaw his return via a specialist plane.

Adding: ‘Unfortunately, despite the doctors in Mexico getting his heart beating stably again, Covid damage meant further complications ultimately affected his chance of recovery.’

Kate frequently kept fans updated on his health struggles and his difficult journey during his Covid battle, previously sharing his heartbreaking last request before he was hospitalised.

While Derek was waiting for an ambulance before being taken to hospital in March 2020, he asked his two beloved children  to ‘look after’ Kate.

He told them: ‘You’re the best children anybody could ever have asked for. Look after Mum, be good for her”,’ Kate previously shared while discussing his Covid battle in June 2020.

Derek was in and out of hospital after he fell seriously ill with coronavirus at the very start of the pandemic in March 2020, and was left with lasting damage to his organs.

Doctors put him in a medically induced coma and he became the longest-suffering coronavirus patient in the UK after spending 13 months in hospital, away from Kate and their two children.

However, he was readmitted several times with numerous health issues, including kidney failure, brain inflammation and liver damage.

Kate previously praised the children’s handling of their late father’s illness and gave an insight into their precious relationship.

She said her children tried to remain positive when Derek was first hospitalised in 2020, and would chat to him over video call when they were unable to visit him due to lockdown restrictions.

The television presenter told HELLO! magazine: ‘We’re keeping positive and doing everything we can to bring him around.

Kate Garraway reveals husband Derek could spend Christmas at home

‘The children and I communicate with him every day on FaceTime, while a nurse holds his iPad. My priority is to make the children feel safe, not to let them see me feeling vulnerable in the world where Derek was my rock.’

She added: ‘During their chats, they tell him what they’ve been doing, and their sense of humour often shines through. Darcey, who wants to be a barrister, said: “Dad, you’d better get better soon because I’m getting cleverer every day. You’ll never win an argument if you don’t get well soon”.’

Kate also praised her ‘heroic’ children for knowing ‘how to communicate’ with their father when he returned home from hospital but was left unable to talk due to his illness in 2021.

She told Zoe Ball on BBC Radio 2 at the time: ‘He isn’t really able to speak at the moment so he can’t tell him off, I have to be the bad guy! They are besides themselves to have him home. They are my heroes.

‘They know instinctively how to talk to him but not ask too much from him. In a way that grownups want to see the old Derek, they have an instinct, there is a lot of love there.’

On Friday January 5, Kate emotionally paid tribute to Derek and gushed that she was ‘so lucky’ to have him as she confirmed his death.

She  to Instagram to share a heartfelt post announced the passing of her husband following a long battle with Covid.

She wrote: ‘I’m sad to have to tell you all that my darling husband Derek has passed away.

She confirmed he had died at the age of 56 after suffering a heart attack before Christmas and thanked the medical teams who fought ‘so hard to save him’.

‘As some of you may know he has been critically ill following a cardiac arrest in early December which, because of the damage inflicted by Covid in March 2020, led to further complications.

‘Derek was surrounded by his family in his final days and I was by his side holding his hand throughout the last long hours and when he passed.

‘I have so much more to say, and of course I will do so in due course, but for now I just want to thank all the medical teams who fought so hard to save him and to make his final moments as comfortable and dignified as possible.

‘Sending so much love and thanks to all of you who have so generously given our family so much support. Rest gently and peacefully now Derek, my love, I was so lucky to have you in my life.’
