Doctors were shocked to find nearly 12,000 gallstones in a woman’s body. According to Daily Mail, 51-year-old Minati Mondal had been suffering from intense stomach pain and acid reflux for months before being admitted to a hospital.
Following a number of tests and scans, doctors discovered 11,950 gallstones inside of her.
Gastrointestinal endosurgeon Dr. Makhan Lala Saha said that while he was expecting a significant number of stones, he was shocked when more than 5,000 were counted. Read the full story here ▶
