On August 13th, pregnant Colorado mother Shannan Watts and her two young daughters — Bella, 4, and Celeste, 3 — went missing.
They were found dead on the property of Anadarko Petroleum, where Shannan’s husband Chris Watts had worked. With Chris expected to be formally charged with the murder of his own family, Shannan’s close friend has spoken out to reveal the sick motive behind the killing.
Nickole Atkinson was the last person to see 34-year-old Shannan Watts alive. She had dropped the pregnant mother off at her Frederick, Colorado, home at 2 a.m. after the pair returned from a business trip.
