It doesn’t matter who we are, life can be difficult to deal with. There are times, however, when somebody may face situations that are more than difficult, they can affect you for many years to come.

Perhaps that is seen most with young children who are still very influential and if those who are helping them in some way or another don’t do it properly, the impact can be catastrophic over the years.

That is especially seen when a teacher does not fulfill their role in the way that they could but rather, they give the children a hard time in the classroom. Read the full story here ▶

There are many evil people in the world who treat animals badly. But I definitely believe that those who want to help and save animals are in the majority, which warms my heart. J

ust like these fishermen who unexpectedly saw a bear cub clinging onto their boat. But as they would soon discover, the cub wasn’t alone.

Parents always want the best for their children and to see them perform to the best of their abilities. But sometimes our expectations outweigh our children’s capabilities and the results aren’t always what we expected.

This is what happened recently to a well-meaning bear mama, who thought her cub could swim better and longer than it actually could. Some unsuspecting fishermen in lake Vygozero in Russia caught sight of a cub in the water next to their boat. The little cub seemed tired and crawled hard against the hull in a desperate attempt to get up on dry ground. Somehow mom and cub had lost each other and the little one was obviously tired. There wasn’t much time left before it would drown – but luckily the fishermen’s boat showed up before it was too late.

They talked about what they should do, as they knew that the bear could try to bite and scratch them. But deep down they knew that they could only do one thing. Save the little bear. Despite the risk to their own lives, they knew that animals’ lives are sacred. They took a big oar and fished the little bear cub out of the water before it could understand what was happening. The cub understood that the fishermen were only trying to help, and didn’t put up a fight. It was only when the fishermen turned around that they saw something they never could have imagined.

The little bear cub was not alone — he had a sibling along with him on his little swimming trip. The fishermen jumped to action again and made sure the sibling ended up sitting safely on a net in the back of the boat. Thanks to their amazing and quick-thinking effort, they were able to save both little bear’s life. They drove the boat to the little island where their mother was waiting — and at that moment there was certainly not a single mom in the world who was more grateful than this mamma bear. The fishermen thought they were going out for an uneventful fishing trip that day. But instead they managed to save the lives of two young bear cubs — an effort nothing less than heroic.

We love dogs. Just about all of us do. Big dogs, small dogs, yappy dogs, fluffy dogs, all of them are loveable dogs — we call them pups and puppers, woofers and boofers, pupperinos and cutie-booties, and we adore our closest companions like no other.

If you were to ask a dog owner why they love their dogs so much, they’d probably tell you that they have a close and enduring bond with their dogs, they care about them on a deep level, and know their dogs care about them in return, offering company, love, and an undeniable loyalty.

One of life’s greatest joys is becoming the parent of a little girl or boy. Or maybe one of each, as many people hope for.

And this is exactly what Kim had always wanted. The brave woman was already the mother of a lovely daughter, so when she became pregnant for the second time, she kept her fingers crossed for a boy.

Kim decided that she didn’t want to know her child’s s-x in advance, but during the course of pregnancy, she became more and more convinced that the baby inside her was another girl. Read the full story here ▶

When faced with a person needing help, we have two options. To mutter something incomprehensible under our breath and walk away, or to help. It really does seem to come down to that.

There is of course a tendency to help people we know well, such as family and close friends. But when we come across strangers, and homeless people in particular, we are often much less obliging.

Perhaps we’re scared, perhaps we think someone else will help them instead, perhaps we don’t think they really need the help or will use any charity we give them towards alcohol or drugs. Read the full story here ▶

The then-26-year-old Zach was reportedly engaged to marry his high school sweetheart, Madison. But, one day, everything turned upside down for this young couple when doctors said he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in his liver and lungs.

The young man was devastated when he came to know about the diagnosis because he was a health-conscious person. The couple got engaged when Zach went into remission but later that year, doctors found a tumor on his spinal cord.

Becoming a parent is the most wonderful experience, and everyone wants to be blessed with a healthy baby, regardless of whether it is a boy or a girl.

But, like having a baby girl is an amazing experience, several reasons why having a baby boy is also the most joyful experience.

In the whirlwind of bad news that we see every single day, it can be very disheartening to think that there isn’t much good in the world left.

But every now and then, a sweet, wholesome, kind bit of news comes around that brings our faith in humanity back to its fullest. This story is one of them.

Lisa Lemming Jackson was doing some shopping at a local supermarket called Kroger in Georgia when she came across a man who looked like he needed assistance. Read the full story here ▶

Initially, the young mater, later identified as Summer, reportedly had her newborn son removed from her care after he was starved. The baby was just 8 weeks old when he was found weighing less than his birth weight.

She was convicted of first-degree endangering the welfare of a minor for starving her newborn son. Although the charge was punishable by up to six years in prison, she was sentenced to only three.

The mom’s attorney, Clay, said that the mother described how she was home-schooled after being bullied in public school and basically had a ninth-grade education. Read the full story here ▶

The 5-year-old child, Andrew, was reported missing by his parents, 61-year-old Andrew Sr. and 37-year-old mother Joann. But, the concern for the boy’s parents also quickly turned to suspicion as they stopped cooperating with investigators.

Eventually, the boy’s dad led authorities to a shallow grave in a field not far from their home. There, the child’s battered body was found wrapped in plastic and buried.
