Nicole Heintz was in a hurry to get to work on a particularly bitter cold Minnesota morning, when she realized that she was running low on gas.
Stopping at the first station she saw, she pulled in and noticed a visibly distressed man near the pump next to her, and she felt she needed to help. After offering him her kindness, she never expected what was about to happen moments after.

When West Virginia police got a call about something odd going on in a Kroger grocery store bathroom, they assumed it would be just another routine response.
But when they got there and heard the noises coming from the restroom stall, one cop came out of it much different than when he entered.

Three people were found dead on Valentine’s Day after what police believe was a murder-suicide. Lury M. Pizarro, 33, and her 3-year-old son, Emmanuel Perez, were among three people found shot to death in an apartment in Brooklyn, Connecticut, on February 14.
The mother and son were allegedly killed by Jose A. Perez, 32, who reportedly died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
According to a news release from the Connecticut State Police, officers arrived at the scene of a “suspicious incident” at an apartment complex on Middle Street in Brooklyn around 8:30 p.m. February 14. A Florida woman fought off a man in her apartment complex’s gym last month when he allegedly attempted to assault her.
The 24-year-old Tampa resident, Nashali Alma, was working out in the Inwood Park Apartment Complex gym, when Xaviar Thomas-Jones apparently approached her and attempted to grab her. Alma told the man to leave her alone, but he continued to pursue her.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office released a video that shows Thomas-Jones chasing Alma around the gym and eventually pinning her to the ground as she tries to call 911. Alma escaped Thomas-Jones’ grip and ran to a nearby apartment. Thomas-Jones was arrested the next day, Fox 13 reported, but not before he reportedly attempted to engage with another potential victim. In Highlands Ranch, Colorado, a neighborhood has been left shaken after quite the disturbing situation unfolded. In fact, one particular woman was left screaming in horror after making an unexpected find in her own backyard.
An unidentified individual was walking around the neighborhood when she walked past her home and saw something odd. However, after taking a closer look, she was left screaming in horror as she made an unexpected find in her backyard. In fact, it was so disturbing, police were immediately called to the scene.
When police arrived, even they were disgusted over what they saw. After a thorough investigation, they discovered that a young woman, later identified as 23-year-old Camille Wasinger-Konrad, had left her dead newborn infant in the backyard of her neighbor’s home. Read the full story here ▶
There are people in this world that do the most horrific things towards animals. They must think that doing so gives them some sort of superiority.
Because they choose to hurt and mistreat an innocent animal, they feel a sense of power seeing as though they control the life of this animal. This thinking is sick and weak.

This morning, at her request, I took our 9-year-old daughter to a coffee shop. She brought with her a little crocheting activity; I brought the newspaper, a notebook & pen, and my phone.

A family in Utah poisoned themselves and their children with a lethal combination of methadone and over-the-counter medicine because they feared that the end of the world was coming.
One of the children, age 14, left behind a note bequeathing his possessions to a friend, indicating that he knew he was about to die.

There is a road nicknamed amongst the locals of Tennessee – Tail of the Dragon, which is a path hidden in the midst of the Smoky Mountains and is unfortunately, a huge fan favorite among motorbike enthusiasts.
The 11-mile long road is notorious for its dangerous path, with over 300 twists and turns.
