Cryptologic technicians in the Navy are responsible for analyzing encrypted electronic communications, jamming enemy radar signals, deciphering information in foreign languages, and upkeep and monitoring of the equipment and networks that generate top secret intelligence.

When Stacy became pregnant she was only a teenager. Still a child herself at just 15 years old when she gave birth to her son, she decided to place him for adoption.

After she gave birth, he was taken away, never to be seen again or so she thought. Few years ago, a new law was passed that allowed adoptees to access their original birth certificate. This was welcome news for Stephen, an adoptee.

When he learned of the new law he knew he wanted his information. Within a month he had his birth certificate in hand and on it included details that were previously lost. Read the full story here ▶

Texas resident Randy was ready for the floods in his home state. The Texas man spent time and money on an Aquadam that surrounded the perimeter of his house.

It wasn’t the most obvious solution – but it worked. Randy decided to look into construction of a DIY Aquadam despite a mostly dry season. After hearing that the BRA was warning of a massive incoming flood, he drove to Louisiana to pick up his Aquadam. Read the full story here ▶

In a domestic conflict turned violent, four individuals have lost their lives after a mother allegedly shot her estranged husband’s reported lover, her own two children, and then herself.

36-year-old Jessica Edens, a mother from South Carolina, was in the middle of a custody dispute with her husband and had claimed that he had been having an affair with Meredith Rahme, 28.

Edens’ husband and Rahme worked together, and Edens called Rahme a homewrecker and posted about her online. Read the full story here ▶

The parent-child relationship is probably the most important one for both parties, whether you live in a nuclear family, joint family, or extended family. Parents strive to provide the best for their children and prioritise their welfare above all else.

We sacrifice a lot for our kids, whether they are American children, Indian children, Black children, children of colour, etc. As parents, there are so many reasons why we put our child’s welfare first—we want them to be happy, safe, loved, and respected.

Every parent struggles at some point with how to get kids to listen. It can be frustrating to have to repeat the same request or argument every day. It is common for parents to be frustrated with a child who will not listen.

Parents often ask how to discipline their kids or how to get them to listen. At the beginning of their lives, we understood that our young children might not have heard or understood what we asked of them. So we managed to be patient.

Bob Hope and his family were enjoying a nice fishing trip at Crescent Lake Park in Florida, and everything seemed to be going well.

In fact, Hope’s father had just managed to reel in a 4lb tilapia! But the excitement from this great catch was short-lived, because just as they were getting ready to put the fish in a bucket, they were harassed by animal welfare activists by the names of Kayla and Mike Leaming and their two children.

The Leamings are part of an animal liberation group called Direct Action Everywhere and opened their accosting of the Hopes with their young son, who told the Hopes that fish can feel pain. Read the full story here ▶

When Charlie Watkins’ car broke down, she and her autistic son Jeriah were stuck in the heat and the traffic of highway 170.

I have experience many different types of frustrations and fears in my life, but one of the ones that tend to get me more than any other is getting pulled over by the cops.

You know, you’re driving on the road and everything sees to be okay. The radio is on and sun i shining and suddenly, you see the blue lights in our mirror and we know that our day is about to get much worse…

Sarah and her husband were foster parents to two children. Things were going great in the home and the couple went to court so that they could legally adopt their foster children.

It was a special day for everyone, and Sarah’s whole family went to court with her. They all wanted to be part of the process of Sara and her husband becoming the legal parents of the two boys they were fostering.

In the middle of the hearing, their older foster son, Dayshawn, stood up to address the court. He interrupted the proceedings to say a few words about the family. Dayshawn started speaking without any warning. Read the full story here ▶
