Chick-fil-A is known for caring about the community wherever the restaurant is located.

Many of the managers hold fundraisers for organizations and people who are in need as well as those who are sick or who have lost family members and need a helping hand.

Meeting someone who is homeless often strikes a nerve to do something to try to help for many people. There are also those who tend to avoid helping the homeless.

One man stumbled into a Chick-fil-A in Tennessee, possibly looking for something to drink or just to get away from being outside for just a few moments.

The manager decided to do something a little special for the man.

When the homeless man entered the restaurant, he wanted to try to get a few scraps that would otherwise be thrown away.

He wasn’t asking for money and didn’t ask the customers for any kind of assistance.

When he left the restaurant, he had a huge smile on his face because of the actions of the manager.

While the interaction was taking place, a father and his daughter were enjoying a meal at a nearby table.

The father made a social media post about the story so that others might be able to see how the homeless are treated and how simple actions can make a difference.

The daughter decided to trade the toy from her meal for ice cream.

As they waited for a few minutes for her ice cream to be prepared, they saw the exchange between the manager and the homeless man.

The man was wearing muddy shoes and looked tired. Most of the people in the restaurant tried to stay away from him.

Soon after the man entered the building, the manager talked to him and explained that he wanted to help. He was given a full meal instead of the scraps that he wanted.

The manager also prayed with the homeless man, touching his shoulder so that he would feel as though someone cared.

For some managers, they could have sent the man away, but this manager made a difference if only for a few moments in time.

Although it goes largely unacknowledged, there truly is so much work involved in becoming a parent.

Just trying to get pregnant alone can be a real struggle for couples who have to deal with various health issues or complications.

And that’s without taking into account the difficulty of pregnancy and the subsequent childbirth!

So it is without a doubt an event of much relief and joy when you finally have your newborn child safe and sound in your arms.

Even better when they are healthy and happy!

As you cradle them against your body, they act as a very real, very physical reminder that all that hard work you had put into your pregnancy has paid off.

So when something happens to them, it becomes a bit of a nightmare.

Jennifer Melton is a new mother from Tennessee.

She had just given to a healthy newborn son, Nate, the day before.

Her childbirth had gone smoothly, and all was well.

When the nurses came to take her son for his routine physical, she had no problem handing over her baby boy.

Nothing could have possibly gone wrong here, all the baby was expected to undergo was some blood tests and weighing.

In the meantime, Melton was instructed to rest for a few hours.

As previously discussed with her nurses, Melton was later given her son back, right on schedule.

But then the nurse mentioned something in the passing that sent the new mother’s alarm bells ringing – a procedure performed by the doctors.

Melton was shocked, as she had not been informed about her son needing any medical procedure at all.

Upon questioning, the nurse had then explained to her about the supposed “tongue clipping” procedure that Melton’s son had just undergone.

What had happened was that the doctors had performed a surgical operation called frenulectomy, wherein they removed the piece of tissue that connects the tongue to the floor of the mouth.

Unfortunately, this was not something Nate needed.

As soon as she heard about this procedure in full detail, Melton was naturally horrified.

She then quickly examined her son’s mouth to see what damage had been done to her newborn child.

There, she saw the underside of his tongue was covered in bloody spots.

The sight of this made Melton instantly break down into tears.

As it turns out, there was another baby who was meant to undergo the surgical operation.

Unfortunately, there was a mixup – doctors had requested the nurses to bring in the wrong infant.

After that, they had proceeded to perform an unnecessary surgery on a baby that was only a day old.

Since then, Melton has taken to sharing her story with other parents in any way possible.

Calling the experience “her worst nightmare”, she hopes that informing others and arming them with the knowledge that this is a possibility will prevent new parents from having to endure a similar fate.

With any luck, this story will raise awareness over this sort of mishap and encourage all involved in everything baby-related to be much more careful.

One day, Kayla Rose, a 17-year-old girl, decided to take her dog for a walk in Irvington, New Jersey at approximately 7 am.

While walking around with her pup, whose name is Milkshake, her attention became focused on a noise that sounded like scratching.

As the scratching sound continued, the panic-stricken teenager discovered that the noise was emanating from a car’s trunk.

The car was a Nissan Altima that was parked alongside a curb.

Kayla was overcome with fear as she got closer to the rear of the car. What she was soon to discover was something she never would have imagined.

Hesitantly, she yelled out a hello.

With that, a masculine voice responded with a hello and plea for help.

Kayla immediately ran to a neighbor’s house, and then she ran to her mother. She wanted help from her neighbor, and she wanted her mother to listen to her story.

Kayla’s mother made a statement to the New York Post that indicated her daughter said it appeared as if she took part in a horror movie.

The police headed over after the neighbor contacted 911.

Inside the trunk, a man who was in his early 20s or late teens was found scratched and bruised on the head and face. Rope was holding his wrists together.

The primary fear factor in this incident was the below freezing weather and the possibility of hypothermia.

That was when the horror story was told. It was a blessing that Kayla happened to be there at that time, and instinct told her to act fast.

After a mother had been at a Wendy’s fast food restaurant with her 4-year-old daughter, her little girl later began complaining that her mouth was “yucky” but wouldn’t say why.

Confused as to what this “funny” taste was that her child kept referring to, the horrified mother figured out what a fast food employee had done to her child upon closer inspection.

It wasn’t Dezeray Risner’s first time taking her daughter to the popular burger chain, but it will likely be her last, even if outside her town of Hubert Heights, Ohio. Read the full story here ▶

Daisy Lynn Torres, 14-months old, went to the dentist for a routine dental procedure, but never made it out alive! Betty Squier had taken Daisy to Austin Children’s Dentistry to have two cavities filled and some crowns. Dr. Michael Melanson was the doctor performing the procedure, and he was supposed to be a pediatric specialist.

While under anesthesia Daisy went into cardiac arrest and died at a hospital later that same day. An autopsy was performed, and the cause of death was determined to have been from complications related to the anesthesia. The real trouble is that there was no evidence that Daisy had any dental issues at all!

So, why was she at the dentist’s office then? Of course, Dr. Melanson is claiming all the work was needed and he didn’t do anything wrong. Share away, people.

Harris County, Texas – Early Wednesday Harris County gas station robbery turns into high-speed police chase on the highway.

The police said they located the vehicle with the help of a tracking device.

The robbery happened on a gas station at a Circle K on Jones Road, northwest of Jersey Village and the chase started shortly after around 2.30 a. m.

At one point during the chase, the running vehicle hits more than 140 mph.

The suspect went eastbound on Highway 290 to the 610 Loop and then back the other direction on 290.

A spike strip flattened at least one of his tires, and he crashed into a curb.

The man reportedly escaped the vehicle but was arrested after short pursuit.

The identity of the suspect is still unknown.

The brave woman, who reportedly wore a ‘provocative’ dress to a wedding on a hot day was targeted by other female guests throughout the night.

Her name is Liz and she shared her story on her social media account. Luckily, Liz gained support from people all around the world. The story went viral after an anonymous friend posted about Liz’s experience on a local radio station’s Facebook page.

“Can we get some advice from you please? A friend wore this dress to a wedding in the weekend and got targeted big time,” she wrote. “She says she got treated rudely by other women at the wedding who saw her as a target for wearing this dress. Read the full story here ▶
