The 27-year-old trans woman, Demmi, reportedly impregnated two female inmates at a women’s only prison. She described how prison guards singled out her transgender status.
When she requested that a female officer search her, one guard allegedly mocked her. She also claims in another article on the site that New Jersey jail officers assaulted her during the transfer from the ladies’ jail to the men’s jail.
Demmi got bad news – she was reportedly relocated to a men’s jail, where she is housed in a vulnerable unit. According to her, she was misgendered and beaten by corrections officers during transfer and is now at risk of being assaulted by imprisoned males.
Demmi, who was sentenced to 30 years in prison for stabbing her foster father to death, was relocated to another correctional facility after getting two women pregnant at the women’s institution. During her transfer, the convict was allegedly assaulted by prison guards and attempted to take her life. Following her attempt to hang herself to death while on transport to the men’s facility, she was put on suicide watch.
Following her conviction, Demmi has written about her mistreatment on her Justice4Demmi website. She described how prison guards singled out her transgender status. When she requested that a female officer search her, one guard allegedly mocked her. She also claims in another article on the site that New Jersey jail officers assaulted her during the transfer from the ladies’ jail to the men’s jail. Demmi was kept for a few weeks at the state prison, where guards referred to her as “a he” at least thirty times. After the story of Demmi becoming a headline leaked that she had gotten pregnant with two women, she was transferred to a different facility.
In her blog, the trans woman opened up about being forced to live in a male prison on her blog, according to Daily Mail. She said she was shipped to the “male facility” due to the fact that I had hung myself in the van. “Suicide watch was imposed on me before going into this dimly lighted cell. Prior to entering this dreary chamber, I attempted to negotiate with authorities if a female officer could strip-search me since I felt more at ease doing so. After the Lieutenant denied me, I asked for this. He threatened to cut all of my clothes off and put me in a dry cell if I did not obey his instructions and allowed two male cops to strip search me. I wept as the male officer spoke to me in a way that I felt was incorrect. As inmates who are on watch are housed in the detention unit rather than the infirmary, I was placed in a dark cell within detention housing.” Although she was permitted to keep her cosmetics, she felt that if she wore them in the male facility, it would be “a death wish.

After celebrating her 60th birthday, Hoda Kotb realized it was time for a change. She made the decision to embrace a slower pace of life for her family, leaving behind her busy routine in New York City. But what prompted this change, and how is she adjusting to her new life?
Hoda Kotb turned 60 in August. About a month later, she shared an emotional moment on “Today,” reflecting on how her milestone birthday made her reconsider how she wanted to spend her time.
Known for her positive energy and dedication to her work, Hoda is now shifting her focus to something more personal and meaningful. But this wasn’t an easy decision. A Tearful Goodbye to ‘Today’ For years, Kotb has been a beloved presence on morning television, but in September 2024, she announced she would be leaving the show early next year. Looking back on her accomplishments, she tearfully told “Today” viewers it was time to move forward.
“I realized it was time to turn the page at 60 and try something new,” Kotb tearfully said on the September 26 episode of “Today.” The mother of two shared that her decision was driven by her desire to spend more time with her daughters, adding, “I feel like we have only a limited amount of time.”
Kotb felt her daughters deserved a bigger portion of her “time pie.” However, her birthday wasn’t the only factor. Her wish to spend more time with her two daughters, Haley, 7, and Hope, 5, played a major role.
“Obviously, I had my kids later in life, and I thought they deserved more of my time,” she admitted. Although it was a difficult decision, Kotb felt it was time to prioritize her family and make the most of the years ahead.
The Move to the Suburbs — A Fresh Start
Before officially announcing her departure from the “Today” show, Kotb had already begun making changes. She decided to leave the busy streets of Manhattan and move to a quiet suburb.
This decision wasn’t easy. Kotb admitted that staying in the city would have been more convenient, but she was drawn to a smaller town. “I found this little town that had everything I wanted — a place that could teach my kids independence,” she shared.
The move wasn’t just about changing locations — it was about creating a home where Haley and Hope could feel secure, loved, and excited. Kotb wanted to build a nurturing environment for her two daughters.
“I want our home to feel warm and cozy for the kids, a place where they want to hang out,” she explained. As Kotb prepared for the transition, she came up with the term “repotting.”
Like a plant that outgrows its pot, she felt her family was ready for something bigger — a place where they could continue to grow. The idea of “repotting” even struck a chord with her daughters, albeit humorously.
When Kotb explained to them about the move, they were initially confused. “They were like, ‘What? We’re moving?’” Kotb recalled with a smile, before reassuring them that this was just another step in their family’s journey.
A Look Inside Hoda Kotb’s Stunning $2.89M Suburban Home
Kotb’s decision to leave Manhattan and move to Bronxville, New York, marked a significant change. The $2.89 million home she purchased through a trust in her name is where her family can truly thrive.
Located just 30 minutes from Midtown Manhattan, her new home offers a peaceful suburban lifestyle while maintaining easy access to the city.
Built in 1952, the 4,000-square-foot Colonial-style house features four bedrooms and five bathrooms, providing ample space for Kotb, Haley, and Hope. Its bright and airy design, along with recent renovations, reflects Kotb’s vision of a warm and welcoming space for her family.
EC Builders, the company responsible for the renovations, expressed their gratitude on social media for finishing the project in time for the family to move in by the end of the summer.
The home is designed with family life in mind, offering a layout that flows seamlessly from room to room. The main floor includes a chef’s kitchen, a formal dining room, and a sun-filled family room with a vaulted ceiling and custom built-ins.
Outside, a spacious bluestone patio is perfect for outdoor dining and family fun. For Kotb, having a backyard was one of the best parts of moving from her Manhattan apartment to the suburbs.
The primary bedroom suite spans an impressive 764 square feet and includes custom closets, cabinetry, and a luxurious bathroom with radiant-heated marble floors and dual sinks. The lower level of the house also provides extra space for a living area or playroom for the kids.
The lot, covering a third of an acre, is filled with blooming flowers, and Kotb has already started hosting friends, including her “Today” co-host Savannah Guthrie.
Kotb says this new home is meant to feel “warm and cozy,” a place where her daughters can truly feel at home. Haley and Hope are already thrilled with their new surroundings, having their own rooms and spaces to enjoy.
Bittersweet Memories of Manhattan While Kotb is excited about her new life in the suburbs, the move hasn’t been without emotional challenges. On a June 2024 episode of “Today with Hoda & Jenna,” she became teary-eyed as she reflected on leaving her Manhattan apartment.
It was the place where she first brought her daughters home, and it holds many memories from their early days. Kotb shared how difficult it was to say goodbye to the apartment filled with memories of her girls — from watching them crawl up the stairs to seeing them run down as they grew older.
“It’s like you want to hold onto things, but you also need to let go,” she said, her voice emotional. Leaving behind those memories was bittersweet, but Kotb knew this change was necessary for her and her daughters.
Hoda Kotb’s New Life and What’s Next
As Kotb begins this new chapter of her life, her focus is now fully on her family. Stepping away from “Today” and moving to the suburbs was a major shift, but it has brought her closer to the life she envisions for herself and her daughters.
With a beautiful new home where her family can grow and thrive, Kotb is excited for the future. Although leaving Manhattan and “Today” was bittersweet, she’s embracing this fresh start, marking the beginning of something special for her and her family.

A 13-year-old boy was murdered in cold blood discovering sick pictures in which his dad was seen eating something truly disgusting.
Now, the father has been arrested and charged with killing his son after an older brother came forward and told the truth about what his murdered sibling saw.
According to Daily Mail, Mark Redwine was arrested in Bellingham, Washington after a grand-jury issued an indictment for second-degree murder and child abuse resulting in death. Redwine, who worked as a truck driver, is now facing life in prison for murdering his son, 13-year-old Dylan Redwine, during a court-mandated Thanksgiving visit. At the time, Mark owned a home in Vallecito, Colorado, where Dylan reportedly discovered disturbing pictures of his father.
According to local news source ABC7, Cory Redwine, Dylan’s older brother, revealed to investigators what he and his murdered sibling saw. “I have seen the photos. It shows him [his father] wearing women’s clothes and makeup and a diaper and then eating his feces from the diaper. It was disgusting. We couldn’t believe it,”he said.
According to investigators, Dylan reportedly confronted and may have mocked his father for the sickening pictures he discovered. For this, Mark allegedly murdered his 13-year-old son. Dylan’s mother, Elaine Hall, has suffered tremendously and agonized over her son’s disappearance since 2012. She told reporters that she has always believed her ex-husband murdered their son.
“He may have said something that just didn’t set (sic) well with Mark, and Mark reacted in a very violent way…obviously. Dylan is no longer here,” Hall said during a February 2015 podcast. Throughout an investigation that has spanned nearly five years, Mark has denied any involvement in his son’s death.
Some of Dylan’s remains were found approximately 8 miles from Mark’s home in 2013, months after Dylan was forced to visit his father as a result of the court order. Then, in 2015, hikers made the gruesome discovery of Dylan’s skull about a mile and a half from the first set of remains.
Dylan’s parents filed lawsuits against each other over their son’s disappearance and even received national attention when they appeared on the Dr. Phil show in 2013. Mark’s story was that he left Dylan at home alone while he ran errands on the morning his son disappeared. He claims his son was gone when he returned home and said he assumed that Dylan went to visit friends.
Dylan’s mother reported him missing, leading to an intensive search effort. According to police, some of Dylan’s blood was found at several places inside of Mark’s home. A canine also reportedly indicated a “cadaver scent” at several spots inside Mark’s home and his pickup truck. The cadaver scent was also detected on the clothes Mark was wearing the night Dylan disappeared, according to the indictment.
After the discovery of Dylan’s skull, investigators suspected that it probably had been moved from the site of the first remains by a human, rather than wildlife. Forensic anthropologists described injuries to Dylan’s skull to be consistent with blunt force trauma at two locations and said it looked as if a knife was used in the murder. When Dylan’s remains were first discovered in 2013, Mark told the Denver Post, “I cannot wrap my head around it,” adding, “You can never be prepared for something like this.”

One day, Kayla Rose, a 17-year-old girl, decided to take her dog for a walk in Irvington, New Jersey at approximately 7 am.
While walking around with her pup, whose name is Milkshake, her attention became focused on a noise that sounded like scratching.
As the scratching sound continued, the panic-stricken teenager discovered that the noise was emanating from a car’s trunk.
The car was a Nissan Altima that was parked alongside a curb.
Kayla was overcome with fear as she got closer to the rear of the car. What she was soon to discover was something she never would have imagined.
Hesitantly, she yelled out a hello.
With that, a masculine voice responded with a hello and plea for help.
Kayla immediately ran to a neighbor’s house, and then she ran to her mother. She wanted help from her neighbor, and she wanted her mother to listen to her story.
Kayla’s mother made a statement to the New York Post that indicated her daughter said it appeared as if she took part in a horror movie.
The police headed over after the neighbor contacted 911.
Inside the trunk, a man who was in his early 20s or late teens was found scratched and bruised on the head and face. Rope was holding his wrists together.
The primary fear factor in this incident was the below freezing weather and the possibility of hypothermia.
That was when the horror story was told. It was a blessing that Kayla happened to be there at that time, and instinct told her to act fast.
