Life at sea brings all manner of incredible experiences and challenges, with the proximity to the beauty and power of mother nature offering a view of the world that too few of us ever see. Among the treasures the sea has to offer in the area are crabs — which happen to be fisherman Alan’s specialization.
But when he and Malory were out at sea with their boat one day, they saw something very different from the crab they were used to — and it was a sight they would never forget. It all began when they came upon a large iceberg, shaped like a mushroom.
Alan and Malory soon spotted something unusual on top of the mushroom-shaped iceberg. At first, they assumed it was a seal, Malory said. They decided to take a closer look — and that’s when they discovered that it wasn’t a seal at all, but rather a creature with four legs that does not normally reside at sea: It was a polar fox.
It’s unclear how the fox ended up there and for how long the poor creature had been stuck there in the middle of nowhere and awaiting a cruel fate. But what’s certain is that the couple knew immediately that they had to do something to help.
An unusual case has emerged that has many talking. Recently a young woman was arrested for drug possession and trafficking charges and it turns out she may be the daughter of a Drug Enforcement Agency office.
Authorities in Teas have arrested 19-year-old Sarah Furay after they found marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine and ecstasy in her apartment, KCEN-TV reports.
The probable cause statement for the incident said officers found 31.5 grams of packaged cocaine, 29 tablets of ecstasy, 126 grams of marijuana, 60 doses of a drug related to LSD and an unverified amount of methamphetamine.EA’s website. Read the full story here ▶
What a shocking story! Wow! A 14-year-old girl that was shot twice by cops after she pointing and firing a shotgun at them remains in critical condition, according to reports.
In a story that has grabbed the attention of people worldwide, the girl and a 12-year-old boy were apprehended after they broke into a home in Volusia County, Florida.

MNPD officials said the 65-year-old suspect, later identified as Willie, reportedly used a large knife to rob a 36-year-old educator on campus. The teacher, who was not identified, reportedly told investigators that she was confronted by Willie in the parking lot.
“The victim reported that a stranger, subsequently identified as Willie, approached, pulled a butcher knife, and demanded her cash. When she told Willie that she had no money, he robbed her of her keys, cell phone, watch, and air pods.
She said he then made her go into the gym, where he pushed her into a closet. He then fled in the victim’s Honda Accord,” the release states.
Willie was taken into custody and later charged with aggravated robbery with a weapon. When he was arrested, the 65-year-old suspect reportedly confessed to robbing the teacher and then showed police where he had parked her car.
Additional charges against Willie are expected to be filed. According to L&C, probable cause affidavit provided additional details regarding the alleged robbery. During an interview with investigators, the teacher told police that Willie was holding a large butcher knife when he approached her, forced her into the school gym, and demanded her money. After taking her electronics and keys, he also allegedly said that he would have killed her if not for her race.
“I’m not going to hurt you but if you were a white b***h I’d kill you,” he reportedly said to the teacher. The teacher also noted that the closet she was forced into inside the gym automatically locked her inside when the door closed, per reports. Police officials said the 36-year-old woman then continued to bang on the closet door and call for help until a group of students heard her and let her out. It was not immediately clear how long she was trapped in the closet.
A mother in Arkansas picked her son up from daycare early after the center called to say he wouldn’t stop throwing up. Since he was healthy when she dropped him off, she couldn’t understand what could have happened in just a few short hours of him being there.
Then, he told her what the caretaker had put in his mouth that made him sick.

Life in high school can be challenging to say the least. Even for the most socially adept of youngsters, navigating the educational labyrinth, whilst also burdened by raging hormones, unsustainable pressure, and fears about the future, is no easy feat.
Spare a thought, then, for those who have to deal with even more. Teenagers like RJ Sampson, who, in 2019, was a senior at Conifer High School in Colorado.
RJ was a bright young man, who loved going to school, but he was visually impaired, giving him an added complication to contend with.
Now, being visually impaired – while perhaps not detracting too much from the quality of everyday life – can make things a deal harder, and it can definitely take away the beauty of certain things the rest of us take for granted.Like a yearbook, for example.
Given that much of the enjoyment a yearbook brings is rooted in the visual (pictures, quirky text, etc), it’s hardly a surprise that RJ was at a disadvantage.
So it was that on the final day of his freshman year, RJ plucked up the courage to ask his study hall teacher: “When are you going to make me a braille yearbook?”
The teacher, Leslie Thompson, thought it was a brilliant idea, but perhaps not one that was viable. After all, just getting normal yearbooks done is a big enough task in itself, let alone creating one in braille.
The years passed and not much more was said. The yearbooks came and went, and RJ was forced to accept the possibility that he might never get to enjoy a yearbook to its fullest extent.
Then came his senior year when, unbeknownst to him, Leslie and the yearbook committee put more than 1,500 hours into making a special yearbook just for RJ.
That’s right, they transposed the yearbook into braille, and presented it to him before the rest of the students.
“It was completely amazing that the students and staff went out of their way to make one for me,” RJ said. “There’s no words I can really use to express.”
