Bethany Arceneaux, 29, was taken captive by Scott Thomas outside their son’s daycare center, where Thomas forced Bethany into his car before driving away. With their 2-year-old son in Bethany’s car at the time, the father of her child kidnapped the frightened mother.

In 2006, Ricky Gray, 39, went on a killing spree in Richmond, Virginia. Over a seven day period, Gray and his nephew Joseph Dandridge killed seven people.

Dandridge pleaded guilty to killing three members of the Baskerville-Tucker family and got a life sentence. Gray was charged with capital murder and sentenced to death.

Two of his victims were Stella, 9, and Ruby, 4. Their parents, Bryan and Kathryn Harvey were also victims. On the night of their murders, the family was preparing for a New Year’s Day party. Read the full story here ▶

Police officials said the granddaughter, later identified as 53-year-old Tsara, was arrested and later charged with murder after she reportedly killed her grandmother and her grandmother’s partner.

Both victims, later identified as 93-year-old Aremean and 69-year-old Michael, suffered multiple stab wounds to the chest and were pronounced dead at the scene.

A morgue employee from the City of Sins was arrested this morning, for letting visitors have sex with the bodies under his care in exchange for money.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, 36-year old James Whitaker pushed the motto “what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” to a whole new level, by operating a cadaver brothel for more than 2 years.

Mr. Whitaker met his customers through a private internet site on which he advertised the corpses readily available at the Clark County Coroner’s office, where he worked the night shift as a medical examiner. Read the full story here ▶

Per reports, the young woman, Hayden, thought that her dog, Jackson, had been bitten by bugs. Unfortunately, she made a stunning discovery when she took a closer look.

“He had some marks on him and we thought they were bug bites and stuff. But then Saturday night I started noticing holes on him,” she said. “I was in shock, I didn’t even know what to think.” Jackson was shaved at the vet, and veterinarians discovered dozens of punctures.

Austin and Brianna were eagerly awaiting their first child. But just a couple of weeks before Brianna gave birth, the mother-to-be received a phone call that would change her life forever.

It was Brianna’s mother-in-law, and she didn’t have good news. “Austin had an accident.” Austin’s mother didn’t know what had happened to her son, she just knew that it was bad. So Brianna drove as fast as she could to the hospital to find out what was wrong with her husband.

Austin and Brianna had been so happy over the previous months as they looked forward to the birth of their first child. But now, Austin’s life hung on a thread and nobody knew what was wrong, reports Fox News. He had a lot of bleeding in his brain, but doctors didn’t know why. Then after performing some more tests, the doctors ruled out drugs and thought they found the scary cause.

For some time, Austin had been working overtime at work, and had a long commute. In order to stay awake, he had started drinking a lot of energy drinks. The legal drink had left him in coma, and his future was uncertain. Austin was unresponsive for several weeks, and when it came time for Brianna to give birth, she had to do it without Austin by her side. But as if by a miracle, Austin woke up shortly afterward.

Still, he was hard to recognize. Surgery had left a large gaping hole in Austin’s skull. Eight months after giving birth, Brianna has her hands full caring for both Austin and their little boy. Austin isn’t the same man that Brianna first fell in love with and probably never will be, either. But Brianna loves him anyway, more and more every day. “Love is knowing you would sacrifice things that you didn’t even know you could sacrifice,” Brianna wrote on Facebook. ”Love is selfless.”

A couple from Santa Clarita, California, spent April 4 in court over allegations they have invited children over for sleepovers and molested at least eight of them for the past 10 years.

Authorities arrested parents Jacqueline Wadsworth, 32, and Francisco Avendano, 42, on March 31 after officials grew suspicious they were responsible for abusing two children under the age of 14, the Daily Mail reports.

A 12-year-old boy reportedly told his mother about the abuse, who then alerted the police and initiated the investigations. Read the full story here ▶
