Thousands of South Side residents without power amid freezing temperatures


SAN ANTONIO – Families residing in a neighborhood on town’s South Side say they’re involved for the aged within the space.

Carolina Vazquez, an space resident, says she has many well being situations together with diabetes and bronchitis. Like many residents in her neighborhood, she doesn’t have power.

Vazquez’s daughter, Viana Galindo, lives throughout the road and says she is coping with the identical points.

“I have no water,” Galindo mentioned. “My parents do, so I have to carry water from across the street.”

Galindo mentioned it’s the second night time without power or water.

Galindo mentioned she has a message to power firms and leaders in Texas: “They don’t care.”

Galindo mentioned she was dissatisfied along with her service from CPS Energy.

San Antonio City District 3 Councilwoman Rebecca Viagran points the next assertion:
