During today’s showcase, Capcom revealed a number of Resident Evil information including details about Netflix’s animated series but people eagerly await the next entry in the series, most importantly when they will be able to play it. There will be Resident Evil Village Demo available, But they are limited all the time, and are only playable during specific windows, so set yourself accordingly
If you have a PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5, then you are up for the first time, with eight minutes available with a 30-minute demo of the “Village” environment which will begin at 8 pm on 17 April. On April 24, a 30-minute “Castle” demo for the same eight-hour window will arrive for PlayStation owners.
If you want to try the survival horror game longer, you will get a chance on all platforms (PlayStation, Xbox, Steam and Stadia) when a 60-minute demo is released allowing access to both environments on 1 May. They will be playable for 24 hours, starting at 8 pm ET, and are available pre-download on PlayStation starting today. The game will be released on all platforms on 7 May.
In other news it was revealed that there will be arcade-style mercenary mode, a part of the village and a crossover event Dead by daylight. Capcom is also working on the first-person VR port Resident devil 4 It will appear on the Oculus Quest 2 headset, but you’ll have to wait until the Facebook event on April 21 for more details.
