A teenage carpenter determined to avoid wasting money on hire by building his own tiny wooden dwelling on the backside of his dad and mom’ backyard.   

Thomas Lear was just 17 when he had a ‘lightbulb second’ and determined to build his own dwelling from scratch in his dad and mom backyard in Bristol to have his own house.

The carpenter spent two years building the country dwelling from reclaimed timber, finishing the tiny project for a price of just £6,000.

Now aged 21, Thomas, from Bristol mentioned: ‘I constructed all of it from scratch on a price range.

‘I just wished to stay a stress-free easy life. It is beautiful being 21 and never having to spend all of my money on hire. I own all the things and that places me comfy.’
