Swedish couple are banned from naming their son Vladimir Putin 

  • Parents submitted the title to the tax company, as is required by Swedish regulation 
  • Names are barred in the event that they trigger offense of ‘discomfort for the bearer’ 
  • The tax company’s reasoning for blocking the title weren’t disclosed

A Swedish couple have been banned from naming their son Vladimir Putin by the tax authorities.

The new dad and mom submitted their request to call the boy after the Russian president to the tax company, as is required by Swedish regulation.

Names might be barred in the event that they are offensive or if they might trigger ‘discomfort for the bearer,’ nevertheless the company’s reasoning has not been revealed on this case.

The dad and mom from Laholm, southern Sweden, have been pressured to return to the drafting board and provide you with a distinct title for the boy, in response to public broadcaster SR.

The tax company has beforehand rejected first names together with Allah, Ford, Michael Jackson, Pilzner, Q and Token.

In 2007, a couple efficiently had a ruling overturned after the tax company initially  rejected the title Metallica for their daughter.

Other dad and mom have been in a position to title their child boy Google with none points.   

In 2019, the preferred names for brand spanking new child boys in Sweden have been Lucas, adopted by Liam and William.

For ladies, the preferred names have been Alice, Olivia and Astrid.
