Schertz opens temporary warming centers Tuesday

SCHERTZ, Texas – The metropolis of Schertz has opened two warming stations Tuesday so residents with out electrical energy have a spot to get heat.

Crosspoint Church situated at 2600 Roy Richard Drive and the Schertz Community Center at 1400 Schertz Parkway, Building 3 can be open till 6 p.m. Tuesday.

COVID screenings and temperature checks are required upon entry and folks should put on masks whereas contained in the buildings.

Residents are requested to dress warmly and convey any medicines they could want in addition to some water and snacks. No pets are allowed within the warming centers.
