Lolo Jones isn’t leaving MTV’s “The Challenge” quietly.
The Olympian went on an extended rant in opposition to the fact present after she was seen quitting within the competitors throughout Wednesday’s episode.
“mtv the challenge forced me to quit, and that is facts,” Jones wrote on Twitter on Thursday. “I’ve never quit anything in my life. Heck I’m one of the oldest Olympians bc I don’t quit, I was pulled aside before the show and told to make it look like I needed to leave.”
Jones, 38, exited “The Challenge: Double Agents” after having a dialog with the opposite opponents and saying her good-byes. Jones, who has competed within the Olympics in each observe & area and bobsled, stated she wanted to depart to focus additional on coaching.
And this further coaching time was seemingly properly spent. Jones gained the primary bobsledding competitors of her career earlier this month on the IBSF Skeleton and Bobsleigh World Championships in Germany.
However, it’s protected to say the loyal viewers of “The Challenge” didn’t take kindly to her quitting the present. And she has thus revealed that actuality TV is — gasp! — not completely actual.
“There are so many secrets that are not known to the viewers,” Jones, who has appeared previous seasons of the long-running present, wrote. “hope that folks keep in mind the problem will not be an actual competitors it’s a television present. They Do Not present the total image however what’s entertaining. So earlier than u write hate messages know u are decide and jury w/o full proof
“The good news is had I not left I would not have made the USA Bobsled Team. I would’ve missed the team cut off by 2 days! If I had not made the team I would not be a World Champion. So in the end God directs our paths. God knows how hard I fought to stay after meetings w producers”
It is unclear why MTV would pressure Jones to stop and the community has not commented on the accusations.
