This story is every mother’s nightmare. Debra Wyant’s daughter, Shayna Sturtevant, passed away.
She was suffering from an ear infection. Debra went to the hospital to get Shayna checked out and four days after that, her child passed away due to a stroke.
Debra knew that her daughter Shayna was an organ donor. Through Gift of Life, Shayna gave such an amazing donation by donating her liver, kidneys, pancreas and lungs as she became the first person in Michigan to donate her hands. Read the full story here ▶
