A brown bear in Iran was killed after native villagers crushed its backbone, legs and pelvis with a tractor and tied it to a digger by its neck.

The villagers chased and beat the bear of their village close to the city of Namin in northwestern Ardabil province earlier than the animal succumbed to its accidents.

‘The villagers restrained the animal,’ state information company IRNA mentioned Sunday, including they ‘resorted to inappropriate strategies and behaviours by chasing, beating and injuring it.’
