Police officials said the 25-year-old man, later identified as Clayton, reportedly killed his 74-year-old dad, Jorge, after an argument. During an interview with investigators, the father reportedly admitted to killing his father by repeatedly kicking the elderly man in front of their house. Clayton was taken into custody and later charged with open murder and tampering with evidence.

The 911 caller told the dispatcher that an elderly person was on the ground and someone was yelling for him to die. The responding officers found the 25-year-old son washing his feed with water. When officers spoke with the suspect, he reportedly told them that he had an argument with his dad. According to Clayton, his 74-year-old dad ‘reached through the window and reportedly told him that he was going to kill him, so Clayton kicked his ass.’ The 25-year-old son said his dad was upset with him for being loud after he came home from a party.

The 74-year-old victim was found laying on the ground. He was rushed to the hospital and pronounced dead the following day. During an interview with investigators, the 25-year-old son reportedly said that his father reportedly broke the window of the car and yelled at Clayton. According to the 25-year-old suspect, Jorge then punched him in the face and pulled him out of the broken car window by his shirt. Then he kicked his father to death, Clayton told investigators.

When Clayton got out of the vehicle, he reportedly kicked his 74-year-old father in the neck. According to Clayton, his father kept fighting back and he was going to keep kicking him until he stopped. The 25-year-old son also said that ‘he needed his father to die because dying in a fight was the only way for him to get to Valhalla.’ The son also told investigators that his dad had been trying to fight him for years and wanting Clayton to kill him so that he could go to Valhalla but Clayton never wanted to.
