Police officials said the 56-year-old woman, Jaqueline, was convicted of second-degree murger after she shot 59-year-old Melvin to death. The woman reportedly shot the man after he tried to break off a relationship with her.
After Jaqueline shot and killed her boyfriend, ‘she moved his body from her dogs’ view so they would not be upset.’ Jaqueline was convicted following a two-day jury trial and will be sentenced in January 2024. The 56-year-old woman faces up to 43 years in prison.
On June 4, 2022, Jaqueline called 911 and told the dispatcher that Melvin had attacked her as she fled from him up her long driveway to her home and then went into the barn where they scuffled again. Read the full story here ▶
